Tomorrow night’s Champions League group stage match against Real Madrid will be doubly important to Inter wing-back Achraf Hakimi according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Hakimi will face Los Blancos for the first time since leaving the club in the Summer transfer window in a €45 million, including add-ons, deal and it is important for the Moroccan national team player for two reasons.
The first reason the game is important for Hakimi is because he wants to get a positive result for his current employers and the second reason is he wants a sort of redemption against the Spaniards, who let him go.
The highly rated 21-year-old has made a good start to life in the Nerazzurri, who he is contracted to until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Hakimi has made seven appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has scored one goal and provided two assists for his teammates.
