Inter Forward Alexis Sanchez To Start Alongside Romelu Lukaku Against Bologna, Italian Media Highlight

Inter forward Alexis Sanchez will start against Bologna this evening, with Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez being rested, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the 31-year-old Chilean forward, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, will be given his fifth start in the league, allowing 23-year-old Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez to be rested ahead of next week’s vital Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk.

Sanchez will line up alongside Belgian star Romelu Lukaku, who is looking to add to his goal tally against the Rossoblu this evening in the San Siro.

The 31-year-old former Arsenal star has made 11 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 462 minutes. In that time, he has scored two goals and provided three assists.

Italian midfielder Nicolo Barella will also remain on the bench, nursing a slight injury that arose in the win over Borussia Monchengladbach earlier this week.
