Inter Vs Juventus 1 Of 2 Potentially Scudetto Deciding Matches To Be Played In January, Italian Media Highlight

Next month will see two potentially Scudetto deciding matches played according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Current Serie A leaders AC Milan, who have a five point gap on second placed Inter, will play host to reigning Italian champions Juventus on January 6 at San Siro. As things currently stand, AC Milan can boast a six point lead over Juventus, who have won the last nine Serie A titles in a row.

Nearly two weeks later Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus will find themselves back at San Siro in order to take on Inter in the first Derby D’Italia of the 2020/21 season.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to highlight that Romelu Lukaku has failed to score in either of the matches versus Juventus since his arrival at Inter in the Summer of 2019, both of which Inter have failed to win.
