Noted Italian football journalist and known Inter fan Fabrizio Biasin has taken to social media platform Twitter to sing the praises of Inter right wing-back Achraf Hakimi following his performance in Inter’s 2-1 win away to Hellas Verona.

The Moroccan national team player has found form in recent weeks and he set-up Lautaro Martinez, who broke an eight game goal drought, to give Inter the lead at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi just after the second half of the match began.

“It is not Hakimi who has to improve in the defensive phase, but his opponents when they face him. Devastating,” Biasin posted.

Hakimi joined Inter in the most recent Summer transfer window in a deal worth a total of €45 million, including add-ons, from Spanish powerhouses Real Madrid.

The highly rated 22-year-old, who is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2024/25 season, has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date for the club.

In his time on the park, which totals 1152 minutes, Hakimi has scored four goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
