Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku were Inter’s joint best performing players in last night’s 2-1 win away to Hellas Verona according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Lautaro snapped an eight game goal drought as he gave Inter the lead and whilst Lukaku did not score, he is the soul of this Inter and was always at the centre of things. Both players have been rewarded with ratings of 7/10 for their efforts in the match. Inter manager Antonio Conte also received a rating of 7/10.
Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni, Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella were Inter’s next best performers with the quartet all receiving ratings of 6.5/10 for their performances at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi.
Roberto Gagliardini and Arturo Vidal were both meanwhile rated 6/10. Ashley Young was given a rating of 5.5/10 whilst the worst performances in Verona came from Inter club captain Samir Handanovic and Ivan Perisic, both of whom were rated 5/10.
