Inter will receive a small compensation sum from Cagliari as part of Radja Nainggolan’s loan move according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Nainggolan is returning to the Sardinia based club on a six month loan deal until the end of the season, that does not include any form of purchase option or obligation. Cagliari will pay almost all of Nainggolan’s wages for the duration of the loan spell and also give Inter a small compensation fee but it is not specified how much.
Come the end of this season, Nainggolan will have just one year left to run on his contract with Inter, which he signed when he arrived at the club in 2018 from fellow Serie A club Roma.
Inter will therefore have more than a reason to hold more talks with Cagliari over another move for Nainggolan with it understood that Cagliari are equally as interested in further talks taking place.
The report goes on to highlight that Inter like Cagliari youngster Riccardo Ladinetti and are known to also like Alessio Cragno, who could be the ideal replacement for Samir Handanovic.
