Talks between Suning and BC Partners over potential fresh investment into Inter are continuing, according to a report from an Italian broadcaster this afternoon.
As per Sport Mediaset, private equity fund BC Partners are in the process of examining Inter’s accounts and have an offer ready, which might not be just for a minority stake in the Nerazzurri.
For over a week now, BC Partners have been strongly linked with potentially investing into Inter, who are experiencing great financial difficulty at the moment.
The Covid-19 pandemic has heavily impacted Inter like it has all clubs with Inter having recorded a loss in excess of €100 million in the last financial year and they are expected to make a large loss this year too.
It has been widely reported that it is for this reason that Suning are seeking fresh investment into Inter, who they purchased a majority stake in from Indonesian tycoon Erick Thohir, back in the Summer of 2016.
