Inter coach Antonio Conte is expected to name a strong starting line-up against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia, despite being well-placed in the race for the Serie A title.
The Nerazzurri take on their city rivals in the Quarter-Finals of the Coppa Italia at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Tuesday evening, and today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport claims Conte will not look to rest too many star names.
Inter trail Milan by just two points at the summit of the Serie A table as they chase a first Scudetto since 2010, but they see the Coppa Italia as a fine opportunity to win silverware amidst a charge for the title.
As such, it is expected that Alexis Sanchez will start up front in place of one of Lautaro Martinez or Romelu Lukaku, whilst Roberto Gagliardini will step into midfield.
Meanwhile, Matteo Darmian is likely to start at left-wing back in place of Ashley Young and defensive duo Andrea Ranocchia and Aleksandr Kolarov may also be given an opportunity against the Rossoneri.
