Bologna are keen on Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti and are working to agree a deal, which in turn would see the Nerazzurri move for their former player Eder.

Academy graduate Pinamonti has seen chances come at a premium this season after an injury hit campaign, with just two appearances from the bench in Serie A and a five minute cameo against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League his only first team action.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, the 21-year-old has attracted interest from various Serie A clubs but Bologna lead the chase.

Whilst negotiations are yet to come close to a breakthrough in a deal for the forward, it has been suggested that Inter have already begun planning a replacement should Pinamonti leave before the transfer deadline passes.

The Nerazzurri have sounded out former Italy international Eder, who led the line for Inter from 2016 to 2018 before joining Jiangsu Suning in China.

The 34-year-old is out of contract in June and with Jiangsu and Inter both owned by the Suning group, an agreement for Eder could be reached before the deadline.

Eder scored 14 goals in 86 appearances for the Nerazzurri after arriving from Sampdoria.
