Six Inter players are walking a disciplinary tightrope tonight in their Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against Juventus, as highlighted by the Italian media today.
Antonio Conte’s side welcome the Bianconeri to San Siro before heading to Turin for the return fixture next Tuesday.
But as per Tuesday’s print edition of Tuttosport, Milan Skriniar, Marcelo Brozovic, Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez must be careful not to pick up a yellow card this evening, because they are all one booking away from a one-match suspension in the Coppa Italia.
Christian Eriksen and Andrea Ranocchia would also miss the second leg at the Allianz Stadium were they to receive a caution tonight, albeit neither is expected to start.
Conte is expected to make six changes to the Inter side which started Saturday’s win over Benevento, although there is one selection dilemma still to be resolved.
Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku are both suspended and will be replaced by Matteo Darmian and Sanchez, while Brozovic and Vidal will return in midfield ahead of Eriksen and Roberto Gagliardini.
Ashley Young will come back in for Ivan Perisic at left wing-back and Stefan de Vrij will return in place of Andrea Ranocchia in defence.
Conte could make a seventh change if he decides to start Aleksandar Kolarov ahead of Alessandro Bastoni, with a decision left until later today.
