Handanovic & Ranocchia Only Survivors From Inter’s Last Away Win Over Juventus, Italian Media Highlight

Samir Handanovic and Andrea Ranocchia are the only survivors of Inter’s last triumph away to arch-rivals Juventus, an Italian media report highlighted today.

Tuttosport’s print edition pointed out that the Nerazzurri’s last victory at the Allianz Stadium came way back in November 2012 when Andrea Stramaccioni guided them to a 3-1 win, with Antonio Conte serving a touchline ban for the Old Lady during that game.

Inter and Juventus played out the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final clash against one another last week and it was the Bianconeri who ran out 2-1 winners.

The second leg will be played in Turin tomorrow night, with kick-off scheduled for 20:45 local time, and Inter have to score at least twice to stand any chance of making it into the final.

Inter have not won a trophy of any kind since winning the Coppa Italia under Leonardo in 2011, as the report recalled, with Ranocchia the only member of Conte’s current squad to be involved in the 3-1 win over Palermo a decade ago.
