Romelu Lukaku was mercilessly taunted by his Inter teammates on Thursday after posing for a selfie on social media.
The Belgian has been in prolific form for the Nerazzurri this season, with 23 goals in 30 appearances for Antonio Conte’s side in all competitions.
Lukaku’s goal-scoring exploits weren’t enough to spare him from widespread mockery on Instagram, as his fellow Inter players laughed at his smiling photo.
Achraf Hakimi replied in the comments using an embarrassed emoji, while Nicolo Barella, Andrea Ranocchia and Lautaro Martinez all seemed queasy at the sight of the 27-year-old.
Christian Eriksen, ever the gentleman, was the only player who seemed to enjoy Lukaku’s picture, using the sunglasses emoji to suggest he looked stylish.
