Inter coach Antonio Conte will return to playing the starting line-up that convincingly beat both Lazio and AC Milan in recent weeks for tonight’s Serie A clash at home to Atalanta, according to an Italian media report today.
Some reports have suggested that Arturo Vidal could replace Christian Eriksen but Tuttosport insist that Eriksen will maintain his place in the Nerazzurri starting line-up.
Lautaro Martinez will meanwhile return to the starting XI in place of Alexis Sanchez, who led Inter to victory against Parma last Thursday by scoring a match-winning brace.
Vidal and Alexis Sanchez have both reduced the gap between themselves and the players they are trying to start over, but Tuttosport add that a team that wins and is convincing should not be changed.
Last time Inter and Atalanta faced off they drew 1-1, and tonight Inter have the opportunity to return to being six points clear at the top of the Serie A table with a win.
