Simone Inzaghi To Decide Federico Dimarco’s Inter Future After Hellas Verona Loan Ends, Italian Media Report

Federico Dimarco will return to Inter this summer after his loan spell with Hellas Verona, a report in Italy confirmed today.

Corriere di Verona (via TuttoHellasVerona.it) said the Gialloblu would not exercise their option to buy to make the 23-year-old’s loan move permanent.

Dimarco will therefore go back to Inter for pre-season, where he will try and stake a claim to remain with the Serie A champions.

Inter’s new head coach Simone Inzaghi will have the final say on where the full-back’s future lies, after another impressive season with Hellas Verona.

Dimarco scored five goals and provided five assists as Ivan Juric’s side recorded an impressive 1oth-place finish in Serie A this season.

He will now move onto the next step in his career and that could be with Inter, who are seeking reinforcements at left wing-back with Ashley Young expected to leave.

Dimarco spent six months playing under Antonio Conte last season before beginning an 18-month stint in Verona, where he developed into one of Italy’s most promising wide men.
