Inter could look to reinforce in attacking areas in the summer, with Sassuolo’s Giacomo Raspadori a target, but they will first have to shift on attacking players already in the squad.
This according Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, via Passione Inter, who report that the Nerazzurri will look to sell Sebastian Esposito and Andrea Pinamonti before they look to reinforce Simone Inzaghi’s attacking options.
Behind first-choice pairing Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, Inter called upon Alexis Sanchez and Andrea Pinamonti, but with the Chilean often injured and the Italian rarely trusted by former boss Antonio Conte, the club would like to bring in more options in the position.
The club will not, however, move for any targets until Pinamonti and Esposito are sold, requiring the revenue from those players’ sale and their wages to be off the books in order to fund a move.
Sassuolo’s Raspadori is thought to be the top target for attacking positions, but Calciomercato report that the 22-year-old is not likely to arrive as he is not considered for sale by the Neroverdi.
