Inter have identified Lazio forward Joaquin Correa as a possible replacement for Lautaro Martinez if he were to leave the club this summer, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by the TV channel Sky Sport in Italy, it is becoming increasingly possible that Lautaro Martinez will be sold by Inter as they do not want to pay the wage increase that he is asking for.

If he were to leave the club, the situation would be different to when Achraf Hakimi left earlier in the window. None of that money has been reinvested into the squad, but if Lautaro Martinez leaves the club will be reinvesting it into that position.

One of the names that has now been touted as a replacement is Lazio forward Joaquin Correa. Dealing with Lazio is tricky at the moment for Inter after the way Simone Inzaghi became Inter’s head coach.
