Inter target Joaquin Correa has asked his current club Lazio to be sold, and is hoping for a move to the Nerazzurri.

This according to football news outlet The Laziali, who report that Argentine has expressed the wish to leave to Biancocelesti head coach Maurizio Sarri, and that the Nerazzurri would consider signing him but only if Lautaro Martinez is sold.

The Nerazzurri are prepared for the potential departure of Martinez, with several top European clubs interested in the 23-year-old, and have lined up Correa as a replacement.

The 26-year-old has worked with Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi for several seasons while the Italian was in charge of the Biancocelesti, and he both parties would like a reunion at the Giuseppe Meazza.

However, the Nerazzurri will only move for Correa should Martinez be sold, and with the likelihood of an offer which meets the Nerazzurri;s €80-90 million valuation for the striker not high at the moment, Correa may not get his wish for an Inter move.
