Updates have been provided about the situations of two Inter players, with forward Alexis Sanchez set to continue training on his own to regain fitness, while midfielder Roberto Gagliardini should be out for around three more weeks.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the duo have not yet returned to pre-season training, but that they could be back in the team within a few weeks.

Sanchez has been dealing with persistent injuries for much of the summer, with the Chilean having picked up a knock at the Copa America with his country which ruled him out of much of the tournament.

The club are hoping to get the player ready for the beginning of the season and past his struggles with a personalized training regime, which he is continuing with.

Gagliardini, meanwhile, continues to recover from a knee injury suffered last week, and another three weeks are expected to pass before he is ready to return.
