Inter are close to meeting PSV’s valuation for Denzel Dumfries with their offer, with only €2 million separating the two clubs.
This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the Nerazzurri have put forward an offer of €12 million, while the Dutch club are demanding €14 million for the 25-year-old.
Inter are hoping to close quickly on a deal for Dumfries, who they have identified as the ideal replacement for Achraf Hakimi on the right side of the pitch.
Talks with PSV are progressing quickly, and the two clubs are close enough on the question of fee that a successful outcome to negotiations looks probable.
Should the two clubs come together on the fee then there will be no obstacles left to the deal and the Dutchman can be quickly brought in and made available to head coach Simone Inzaghi as he looks to prepare his squad for the upcoming season.
