Inter are ready to offer striker Lautaro Martinez a new contract, which would take him on with the club for five years at a net salary of €5 million annually.
This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, via FCInter1908, who reports that the club are ready to begin talks with the Argentine’s entourage next week on a new deal.
The club consider the 23-year-old an important part of their plans and hope to have his future secured very soon, while the player also intends to stay at the club and wants to sign a new contract.
The Argentine’s current deal is set to run out at the end of June 2023, and with multiple top European clubs interested in his signature the Nerazzurri will hope that they can commit him to the club for the future, and that contract talks will progress swiftly and smoothly towards this end.
