Lazio president Claudio Lotito has dropped his asking price for Inter target Joaquin Correa as the Argentine grows more interested in the transfer, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by Il Messaggero, Lazio had initially stated that a bid of €40 million would be required to sign the Argentine forward. Now though, a bid of €30 million, as well as some bonuses, would be enough to secure his services.
Simone Inzaghi is of course a big fan of Joaquin Correa having worked with him at Lazio for many years, but it is still believed that Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata is at the top of Inter’s list for a replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
The player has reportedly been chatting to fellow Argentine Juan Sebastian Veron who made 49 appearances for Inter between 2004 and 2006. The player is becoming increasingly keen on the idea of joining Inter as he feels his time at Lazio is over.
