Inter striker Lautaro Martinez will be back from a minor injury in time to be available to face Hellas Verona on Friday.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Argentine is all ready to make his return to the pitch after a few days out with a minor muscle problem.
Martinez was ruled out of the Nerazzurri’s season opener through suspension after picking up an accumulation of yellow cards towards the end of last season, but he was also dealing with a minor muscle problem which likely would have ruled him out anyway.
The 24-year-old will be back in action on Friday, and could see his season debut and the first appearance in a competitive match under head coach Simone Inzaghi.
The new manager will be happy to be able to call upon the centre-forward, and to give a true sense of the attacking potential of his team.
