Sassuolo have shown an interest in signing Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume on loan and could move for him before the end of the transfer window, thought the likeliest destination for the player still appears to be Brest.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 19-year-old is on the Neroverdi’s radar, with the club also in discussion with the Nerazzurri over the situation of striker Gianluca Scamacca.
Agoume returned to Inter this summer from a loan spell with Spezia, and he is destined for another loan move away with the main objective being regular playing time, and Brest look to have jumped to the head of queue ahead of other Ligue 1 clubs in the chase for his signature.
However, Sassuolo could make a late push for the young French midfielder, who they consider to be a target, and with the Emilian club in other talks with Inter they could convince them on a loan transfer.
