Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is not likely to be ready to return to action against Lazio on Saturday, but could be fully fit to play soon after.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 25-year-old is close to making a full recovery from the knee injury which has ruled him out of the last several games with his club but will not likely be ready in time for the Lazio clash.

Sensi had picked up a knee injury in the Nerazzurri’s clash with Sampdoria at the beginning of the month, after a collision of knees with Sampdoria defender Maya Yoshida forced him to leave the pitch in discomfort.

The midfielder has been working to recover from the injury and could make his return to the pitch soon, but it is unlikely that Nerazzurri coach will be able to call on him as he prepares for the trip to face Lazio over the weekend.
