Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is not expected to play any major role for Inter in their match against Lazio on Saturday evening as he is not fully fit, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by the Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the Italy midfielder will not quite be fit enough to make his return from injury against the Biancoceleste on Saturday evening.

Stefano Sensi would have been a serious option to partner Edin Dzeko upfront for Inter this weekend given Simone Inzaghi may not be able to use Lautaro Martinez or Joaquin Correa from the first minute against his old team.

In his current physical state though, it would be too much for him to start such an important match. He will be hoping to force his way into the coach’s plans in the near future though in hopes of resurrecting his Inter career.
