Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is set to hold a meeting with his squad where he will stress the importance of moving on from the weekend’s defeat away to Lazio to the crucial Champions League clash with Sheriff Tiraspol tomorrow.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the coach will emphasize taking the right lessons from the first defeat of the Serie A season.

Inzaghi has not yet spoken about the defeat with his squad, preferring to give the team time to process their feelings after a tough loss which had come in controversial circumstances and seen many of the players visibly angry on the pitch.

Yesterday Inzaghi spoke about the defeat with club managers, but today his task will be to go over the match with his entire squad, bringing together players who played against the Biancocelesti and those who did not.

The coach’s aim will be to reiterate the lessons that he had already expressed in the post-match press conference and get his players in the right frame of mind to take a result from the Sheriff clash.
