Inter-owned midfielder Lucien Agoume was absent from his current club Brest’s Ligue 1 clash with Reims yesterday through a calf injury.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Frenchman missed the match through a knock to his calf injury the severity of which is yet to be determined.

Agoume joined Brest on loan during the summer, with the 19-year-old seeking regular playing time following a spell on loan with Spezia last season in which he impressed at times but only featured in twelve Serie A matches.

So far this season, the young midfielder has managed to make five appearances for the Ligue 1 club, looking to be a regular fixture in their starting eleven.

However, the calf injury will come as a worry and Agoume will hope that he can quickly get past the issue and begin to feature regularly for the French side once again and gain valuable experience.
