the agent of Pisa striker Lorenzo Lucca has played down speculation linking him with a move to some of Europe’s elite teams, according to a report in the Italian media.

Whilst speaking to mediagol.it, Ninni Imborgia explained that the most important thing right now is Lorenzo Lucca’s development of a player rather than looking at where he can move to.

“Lucca hasn’t even been playing football for twelve months, it’s not the time to talk about Inter, Milan, Juventus or Real Madrid.

“I’ll tell you sincerely, Lorenzo must continue next year his growth, which is made up of training and enrichment and is made up of knowledge of things about football.”

Ninni Imborgia of course does not rule out the prospect of a big transfer in the future, but says special consideration will be taken to make sure it is the right move for the player to work for a coach who can teach him new things.

“If he changes team in the future and it is conceivable so, we will go to look for a coach who will help him find the still unexplored elements of his game, he must continue his path of maturation.”

Lorenzo Lucca has burst onto the scene somewhat in Serie B with Pisa as he is already 21-years-old and is only now coming onto the radars of the top clubs in Italy.

That is why the agent believes special care should be taken with his development, saying: “We must not rush, because he is a footballer who arrives on the important stage a couple of years late.

“So you have to know how to wait for all those skills that Lucca has in his repertoire that he still does not know how to use, and we need to create the ideal conditions to see them, make them our own and use them to the fullest.”
