The former AS Roma and Atalanta midfielder Davide Bombardini has suggested that Inter are one of many teams that could win the Scudetto this season, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Speaking during an interview with TMW, Davide Bombardini explained that Napoli have everything they need to fight for the title this season, but there are five other teams that can do the same.

“Napoli has everything to aim for the scudetto but it could be anyone’s this year out of Inter, Juventus, AS Roma, Atalanta, AC Milan.”

Napoli have won all eight of their opening fixtures this season and are clearly the team to beat. They have not faced many of the top teams in the division though so many feel their form may unravel over the next two months or so.

Inter have slipped slightly in recent weeks with the draw against Atalanta and the defeat to Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico, so they are seven points behind Napoli right now.

AC Milan are just two points behind Napoli.
