Inter will look to begin contract renewal talks with Milan Skriniar in the near future, with the club ready to hold the first meeting before the end of the year.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the club are hoping to have the situation wrapped up in a timely manner and that the will of the player is to move forward with the Nerazzurri.

Skriniar’s current deal is set to expire at the end of June 2023, and the Nerazzurri do not want to see him move into the final year of his contract without a new deal in place.

Accordingly, the plan is to begin talks about an extension in the next couple months, having already had some informal discussions in which the 26-year-old indicated that his hope is to stay on.

The club will hope that they can secure the player’s future long before the prospect of him heading into the final season of his contract comes up.
