Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez is still hoping that he can join Inter in the January transfer window, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Uruguayan midfielder has still not mentally recovered from seeing his proposed move to Inter in the summer fall away from sight.

He seemed all set to move to Inter on loan with an obligation for Inter to buy him outright but then the two clubs could not agree on the fee for the loan part of the deal.

Eventually, Inter turned their attentions elsewhere and Nahitan Nandez had a period of time where he refused to train with Cagliari.

He is back in the set up of the Sardinian flag but he is still keen to join Inter as soon as possible. His versatility and desire could persuade Inter to sign him in the near future.
