The sheer number of players that Inter possess who can score goals for the team could be vital if they are to beat AC Milan on Sunday evening, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have already seen 15 different members of the squad score goals across all competitions this season.

Across Europe, the only team to have seen more goalscorers in their league matches are Chelsea in the Premier League.

Against AC Milan, Simone Inzaghi will be relying on more than just the excellent partnership of Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez to find three points and put Inter back in the frame for the Scudetto.

There will need to be interventions from the likes of Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu from midfield. Ivan Perisic and Matteo Darmian pose a threat from wide areas, and the centre backs can score from set pieces.
