The new balance to the Inter squad and the atmosphere at the club show that they can still win the Scudetto this season, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the squad found themselves in a dark moment when they were beaten 3-1 by Lazio.

It was a poor performance and it was particularly upsetting for the coach as it came against his former team.

That led to a serious intervention from Simone Inzaghi to address the issues that were seen in that defeat. Since then, the form of the team has increased and they look like a more balanced outfit.

Too many goals were being conceded by Inter earlier in the season despite having great defenders, but Simone Inzaghi appears to have found a way to address that having not conceded in the last two Serie A fixtures against Empoli and Udinese.
