Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is a target for AC Milan, but they are very unlikely to sign him, as he would prefer to move to a club outside of Serie A if he is to leave Inter.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the Croat is a serious target for the Rossoneri but that he would not agree to a move.

Milan are monitoring Brozovic’s situation at Inter as he still has not signed an extension with his current deal set to expire at the end of June 2022, and the Rossoneri would consider moving for him next summer if he is available on a free transfer.

There is still optimism about a renewal at Inter, though as of yet an agreement has proved impossible to find.

At any rate, the 28-year-old would not be interested in a switch to the Nerazzurri’s city rivals, and if he were to leave it would be for a club outside Serie A.
