Three Inter players made appearances in Argentina’s World Cup qualifying win last night, but none played the full ninety minutes of the match.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the likes of Lautaro Martinez, Joaquin Correa, and Matias Vecino all had time on the pitch during the match.

Argentine Martinez started the match, but came off in the 55th minute for Sevilla and former-Atalanta attacking midfielder Papu Gomez.

Vecino, meanwhile, started for Uruguay but also came off during the second half of the encounter, for young Penarol midfielder Augusting Alvarez.

Correa did not start the match for Argentina, but did come on as a substitute at the beginning of the second half, for Juventus’s Paulo Dybala.

The Nerazzurri will be pleased to see that all three of their players involved in the match were given some measure of rest, with the South Americans also set to return around the same time as the European players in the squad this time around as well as there are no extra fixtures.
