Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona are both stepping up their pursuit of Inter-linked striker Karim Adeyemi, as they prepare significant offers to his club Red Bull Salzburg.
This according to German broadcaster Sport1, who report that the German and Spanish clubs are hoping to win the race for the young German striker who is also a target for Inter.
Adeyemi has impressed with his performances for Salzburg this season, leading to significant transfer attention from a number of top European clubs.
The Nerazzurri are among the teams most interested in the 19-year-old’s signature, as they look to build their attack around youth and high potential.
However, they face competition for his signature, and they could be set to miss out on him to either Dortmund or Barcelona in particular.
The Germans are preparing an offer worth €35 million to his club and to the player worth €5 million net per season in salary, while the Catalans are ready to offer Salzburg €40 million to add the player to new coach Xavi’s squad.
