Inter wing-back Denzel Dumfries helped the Dutch national team qualify for the 2022 World Cup with a 2-0 victory over Norway on Tuesday, and he is elated to have helped his national team to this achievement.

The Oranje had failed to qualify for the last edition of the competition after having made the final and semi-final of the prior two tournaments, but Dumfries is part of a new generation of Dutch players who have emerged to take the team back into the tournament.

Dumfries posted a picture of the team celebrating on his Instagram account, which he captioned, “Things a boy dreams of, We are going to the World Cup.”
