Genoa and former Lazio striker Felipe Caicedo could be an option for Inter in January as the club seeks to offset the damage of Alexis Sanchez’s new injury, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, there are many players that Inter could attempt to sign in January and the summer to help bolster the options that Simone Inzaghi has available to him up front.

One of these options is Felipe Caicedo who joined Genoa at the start of this season but has only featured twice.

He spent the previous four years playing under Inter boss Simone Inzaghi at Lazio where he developed a reputation for coming off the bench and scoring very important late goals for the team.

Other more expensive options include Sassuolo duo Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamaacca, Torino forward Andrea Belotti, Pisa’s Lorenzo Lucca, and Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic.
