Edin Dzeko has taken part in group training twice with Inter since he returned to Milan from the international break, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport, via FCInternews, the Bosnian striker appears to be taking in part in training sessions just like everyone else in the Inter squad, suggesting that his injury concerns are extremely minor.

Edin Dzeko appears to be in a direct fight with Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa for the two striker spots that Simone Inzaghi can offer for the match against Napoli on Sunday evening.

Lautaro Martinez seems the most likely to start the match as the injury he sustained whilst with Argentina was not as serious as that of Edin Dzeko.

Simone Inzaghi must decide if he wants to rest the ex-AS Roma man to keep him fresh for the Shakhtar Donetsk match or not.
