Inter striker Lautaro Martinez will be determined to find the back of the net in tomorrow’s Serie A match against Napoli as he attempts to end a lengthy barren run.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, the former Racing Club man has not scored for Inter since 2 October, whilst his last goal for Argentina came on 15 October.

Without a goal in his last nine matches for club and country, the pressure is mounting on Martinez but he will hope to find a goal against Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli, after the coach gave him his Inter debut in 2018.

Meanwhile, his first significant goal for Inter came in a crucial match against Napoli in December 2018 as he struck a 91st minute winner to seal a 1-0 victory for the Nerazzurri.

Martinez has since scored a further three goals against Napoli, with an effort in January 2020 before he hit a brace against the Partenopei in July 2020.
