Inter players Nicolo Barella and Alessandro Bastoni will have their conditions evaluated ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League clash with Shakhtar Donetsk at the Giuseppe Meazza.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the pair will undergo final evaluations ahead of the massive fixture.

Bastoni suffered a bruised shoulder during the weekend’s match against Napoli in Serie A, while Barella has been dealing with fatigue.

Neither have had to undergo serious tests so far, nor has Joaquin Correa who had to exit the pitch during the second half against the Partenopei due to a calf problem.

However, Barella and Bastoni are set for final tests ahead of the Shakhtar clash as coach Simone Inzaghi seeks to select his starting eleven for the vital Champions League fixture.

The coach will decide on whether rotations in the squad should be a priority or he can continue to rely on his most trusted players.
