Qualification for the Champions League latter stages could allow Inter to pursue targets such as Luka Jovic and Matthias Ginter in the near future, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter’s January transfer window action will remain linked to players that leave the club to facilitate the arrival of a new player.

The Champions League group stage success means that Inter can act quicker in the next two windows if favourable situations do appear.

If Alexis Sanchez leaves the club in January, a loan move for Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic is very possible for Inter. Similarly, Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez could join if Matias Vecino leaves the club.

As for the summer, Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter is a very credible option in defence whilst the free transfer of Andre Onana is expected to be finalised very soon as well.
