Inter executive Dario Baccin will be in Argentina to prepare a report on River Plate striker Julian Alvarez this evening, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by Il Giornale, the right hand man to Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio will be present at the match that River Plate will play in against Racing Avellaneda on Friday evening.

He will be focusing his attention on young Argentine striker Julian Alvarez who the club have been repeatedly linked with over the past few months.

Following on from the report a concrete offer for the player is set to be prepared and then presented to the Argentine league champions.

Julian Alvarez has managed to score 17 goals in just 18 matches this season which is why Inter are so interested in his services.

They may have to be quick though as multiple other European sides are very keen on him.
