Inter are getting very close to agreeing on a new four-year deal with Marcelo Brozovic with another round of talks on the extension expected in the next few days.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the club are optimistic about finding the agreement with the 29-year-old soon.

The Nerazzurri have made extending with the Croat a major priority, and they are close to agreeing a new deal worth €5.5-6 million net per season plus add-ons which should be enough to convince him to commit his future.

A couple weeks ago the club began talks with the midfielder’s father and the family lawyer who represents him and the negotiations look to be progressing well, with the player’s will to continue at the club.

Another meeting should happen in the next few days, and it reportedly should not be long before the club officially announce the new four-year contract for the crucial midfielder.
