Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen is training again for the first time since his cardiac arrest in the summer, according to a report in the Danish media today.

As has been reported by B.T. Nyheder in the player’s native Denmark, Christian Eriksen is training this week with the Odense squad.

Odense are a team that the midfielder has been linked with ever since it became clear he will almost certainly not be able to continue with Inter in the future.

Danish manager Michael Hemmingsen said on the matter: “We are really delighted that Christian can train on our fields.”

The training took place away from the media or other on-lookers and it was only a few hundred yards from the villa that Christian Eriksen recovered at over the summer with his wife and children.

Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch whilst playing for Denmark at Euro 2020. He was stabilised on the pitch and rushed to hospital and has since been recovering with his family and doctors.
