Inter are interested in signing River Plate striker Julian Alvarez, but they will face competition from Serie A rivals AC Milan and Juventus as well as teams from Spain.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are only one of a number of teams interested in signing the Argentine.

Alvarez’s form for River this season has been eye-catching, with the 21-year-old having scored at a rate of nearly a goal per game for the Argentine giants in the league.

The Nerazzurri are following the young striker closely, although the Bianconeri have been for some time as well, and the Rossoneri also have representatives in Argentina monitoring him.

Additionally, top clubs in Spain are also interested in Alvarez’s signature, with Atletico Madrid leading the way.

Alvarez’s current deal is set to expire at the end of June 2022 and a number of clubs are set go head to head to try and sign him, with Inter definitely among them.
