Inter forward Joaquin Correa has suffered a strain to his left thigh during the Nerazzurri’s 3-0 win over Roma in Serie A earlier this evening.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Argentine picked up a strain to the flexors in his left thigh during the second half of the clash at the Stadio Olimpico.

Inter will have largely enjoyed their evening as they cruised to victory away to the Giallorossi to temporarily go ahead of Napoli in the Serie A table, but Correa’s injury could be a cause for concern.

The 27-year-old went down holding his thigh midway through the second half of the match, and initial tests after the final whistle confirmed that he had picked up a strain to his left thigh flexors.

It remains to be seen whether the knock will be serious enough to cause Correa to be ruled out of significant time on the pitch.
