Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic still has every intention of remaining at the club and signing a new contract as talks continue into December, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Croatian midfielder has a clear idea of where his future lies and he is ready to swear loyalty to the Nerazzurri.

Despite his clear intentions, there is still no definitive agreement between the player and the club over the salary for his potential new contract.

The club are reportedly not nervous about the fact his current contract will expire in June 2022.

There is still a gap of around €1 million between the two parties and it is thought that any agreement would likely see a figure between €5.8 and €6 million per season which would be in line with other key players that are currently in Simone Inzaghi’s Inter squad such as Lautaro Martinez.
