Italian Journalist Matteo Marani has praised Inter boss Simone Inzaghi for the way he has steadied the ship at the club since taking over in the summer, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking in the Sky Sport studios recently, via FCInternews, Matteo Marani explained that Simone Inzaghi has brought continuity to the club even though he is a very young coach.

“He has brought continuity, he is a very young coach who from a European point of view has always given guarantees.”

The journalist went on to proclaim that the ex-Lazio coach understands every element of football and that he and the club have coped well with the transition of losing Antonio Conte and two key members of the squad over the summer.

“He understands football, he has been well accompanied by the club in this transition that was not easy. And the market proved to be right: in the emergency of having to sell, the best alternatives were taken.”

Antonio Conte left the club when he learned the full extent of the club’s financial issues and the club then had to sell Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku to Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea respectively, without being able to reinvest much of the funds into the playing squad.
