Inter forward Alexis Sanchez is more likely to leave the club in June 2022 than January but the club are preparing for life without him, according to a report in the Italian print media.
As was reported today by the print edition of Il Giorno, the Chilean forward and Inter are both on the same page in the sense that they know their future’s lie away from one another.
The €7 million per season salary that Alexis Sanchez earns is not sustainable for Inter in their current financial state but it also means it would be very hard to offload him in January.
Teams do not tend to make such a drastic change to their wage budget at this point on the season so a June departure is much more likely for Alexis Sanchez.
Inter are looking at Sassuolo duo Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamacca as possible replacements, as well asReal Madrid striker Luka Jovic on loan.
